Abstract: With number of vehicles increasing day by day and parking places not increasing proportionately, find ing parking areas with free parking slots has become time consuming and cumbersome. There have been many solutions to address this problem with each one adopting a different technology and methodology. This paper presents an overview of such different methodologies using Internet of Things which help people in having a better and smart parking system.
